Researchers have long believed that one of the primary drivers of lucid dreaming is a LOT of physical and psychological machination throughout the day. People who tend to have a lot of going on, tend to be more imaginative and just have richer inner experiences on all levels. Channeling these imaginative processes in the direction of INTENTION (i.e. wanting to have a lucid dream) is a huge enabler in getting there.
