Cliches Associated With Insurance

Isn't it funny how many clichés can be associated with insurance? I think when a few sayings and anecdotes were invented; the inventors had in mind the term insurance!

Take a look at some of the following sayings and let me know if you agree …

Nothing is certain but death and taxes. This can be changed to – nothing is certain but death and insurance. It doesn't matter who we are, what we do, how much money we have or what car we drive … we need insurance!

All is fair in love and war. Again, this can be changed to "all is fair in love and confidence". Don't you agree that we are at the mercy of the insurance companies? What they say is the law and we just have to sign on the dotted line and accept the fact that we are paying tons of money every month for something we don't really want. Do not accept the first quotation offered to you. Shop around until you find a policy that you are completely satisfied with. Do not allow any broker, agent, or insurance company to force you into a policy that you are not happy with.

He was taken for a ride – he was taken insurance! It is unfortunate to hear how many insurance companies take their clients and clients for a ride. Usually this is about not wanting to pay a claim, drastically increasing premiums, or other matters over which we have no control. Always read the fine print before signing an insurance document. By having a good understanding of what your insurance policy entails, this can be largely avoided.

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link – An insurance company is only as strong as its weakest link. When looking to purchase insurance, be sure to speak with an agent or broker who knows what they're doing! The worst thing in the world is dealing with an insurance reseller who has only one thing on his mind: hitting their monthly sales goals. Insurance is a very important investment; It is therefore essential that a qualified professional takes care of your needs and requirements.

A good start makes a good end. Replace that with "a good insurance company makes a good ending" and you will be one of the many people who are happy with the service they receive from their insurance companies. If a business provides exceptional service and handles queries and complaints effortlessly, even a burglary or accident can have a successful end.

The calm after the storm. If you can change that saying to "after an insurance claim comes a calm" – congratulations! This means that you recently filed a complaint and it was dealt with successfully, allowing you to relax once everything has been taken care of.

Hope you enjoyed this tongue-in-cheek look at insurance sayings – it might be a bit of unnecessary information, but I hope it managed to put a smile on your dial !
